The East German Minister Presidents want to promote East Germany as a strong region in Europe in Brussels. Talks with leading representatives of the European Commission are planned for November 6, according to the Thuringian State Chancellery in Erfurt. At the next meeting of the heads of government of Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia, Berlin and Brandenburg as well as the Minister President of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the topics to be discussed will include the financial resources of the regions as well as migration, industrial and agricultural policy.
