The "Digital Mobile Classroom" (DigiMoK) education project will continue to receive funding until the end of 2026. The Free State of Saxony is providing 450,000 euros for this purpose, as announced by the Saxon Ministry of Culture.
DigiMoK has been touring Saxony for two years and stops off at a different school every week. There, it teaches pupils and teachers about topics such as robotics, coding and artificial intelligence (AI).
Minister of Education Conrad Clemens (CDU) emphasized the value of the project: "Whether in private applications or at work - AI is on the rise. This is where we come in and support learning from and with AI in schools." According to the ministry, more than 10,000 pupils have already taken advantage of the offer.
