Basketball Bundesliga club Syntainics MBC will have to make do without Aleksa Kovacevic in future. The 23-year-old is leaving Weißenfels to join a second-division club, the MBC announced. Kovacevic played in all 42 games in the German league and cup last season and played a key role in the cup success.
This is the second time that the rebounder has ended his contract with the MBC. He was already under contract with the club in the 2022/23 season before spending a season with Serbian first-division club KK Sloga Kraljevo and then returning to Weißenfels.
