Promoted Dynamo Dresden are still waiting for their first home win of the season in the Bundesliga 2. A defender celebrates his debut in the away win in Bochum. Now comes the next step.

Dynamo Dresden have signed defender Friedrich Müller to a professional contract. The 19-year-old signed the contract one day before Sunday's match against Fortuna Düsseldorf (1.30pm/Sky). "Friedrich has already been part of our team in recent training camps and selectively in the training weeks. He has been able to continuously develop and adapt better and better to the demands of the professional game. He has excellent physicality for his young age and is therefore already at a very good physical level," said head coach Thomas Stamm.

Müller last made his second league debut in the win in Bochum. Prior to that, he had been part of the Black & Yellows' youth academy since 2018. He made four appearances for the German U18 national team and was most recently an integral part of Dynamo's newly formed U21 squad. "I'm proud and naturally delighted that I can take the next step here at Dynamo," said the 1.85-metre tall Müller.
