The DFB Cup round of 16 match between RB Leipzig and second-division side 1. FC Magdeburg will be played on December 2. As announced by the DFB, the eastern clash will kick off at 9.00 pm. "It will be an atmospheric match. There has been some movement at Magdeburg recently, they have stabilized under the interim coach. Perhaps the coaching solution will also be a permanent one, which will be interesting for us again," said RB coach Ole Werner.
The team is certainly the favorite in the match. "We also have a clear ambition to advance to the next round. And yet every game has to be played first. We will take a strong Magdeburg team completely seriously, as we should and will have to," emphasized the RB coach.
