Postal voting office opens in Leipzig one month before European elections

Just over a month before the European and local elections on June 9, the postal voting office in Leipzig will open next Wednesday. Due to the expected high volume of postal vote applications, a special exhibition construction has been installed in the New Town Hall, as the city announced on Friday. All Leipzig residents entitled to vote who do not attend a polling station on June 9 can cast their votes at the postal voting office or by post in advance. An identity card or passport is required for postal voting.
