Saxony's head of government Michael Kretschmer (CDU) is hosting a "winter sports summit" at his official residence on Wednesday. Representatives of Saxony's sports associations and clubs as well as the district councils and mayors of the winter sports regions are to attend, as announced by the state chancellery in Dresden. The Minister of the Interior responsible for sport, Armin Schuster (CDU), will also be present.
The topics to be discussed include a review of top-class sport in the past season and a discussion of the winter sports strategy. The summit is taking place for the fourth time.
