Since opening at the end of May, the documentation center on the NSU complex in Chemnitz has counted more than 3,200 visitors. Nora Krzywinksi from the ASA-FF association reported that 15 events and three workshops had been offered. "That shows: Dealing with the NSU complex is topical. Education and dialog as well as a critical examination of right-wing extremist and anti-democratic movements in Chemnitz and Saxony must therefore continue to be financially secured in the future."
From now on, the views of relatives of the NSU murder victims will also be presented to the public on a streetcar. This is intended to send a visible signal against forgetting and for an active culture of remembrance.
