RB Leipzig have found a permanent buyer for midfielder Ilaix Moriba, according to a media report. Spanish first division club Celta Vigo have exercised their six million euro purchase option for the 22-year-old, Sky reported. The two clubs have now completed the formalities. RB would save a mid-single-digit million euro salary.
RB had paid FC Barcelona 16 million euros for the talent in 2021. However, the Guinea international was never able to establish himself in Leipzig. He was loaned out again and again. The central midfielder then became a regular at Celta Vigo last season.
