RB Leipzig are still fighting for the Conference League in the long-distance duel with 1. FSV Mainz 05. However, the 05ers, who are level on points, have the better goal difference. "We sat down together at the start of the week and talked. The boys know what's at stake against Stuttgart - they want to say goodbye to the fans with a home win," said interim coach Zsolt Löw, for whom this Saturday's Bundesliga match against VfB Stuttgart (3.30pm/Sky) is also RB's last compulsory match.
Independent of the DFB Cup final a week later in Berlin, Zsolt Löw expects Stuttgart to be "razor-sharp and super-motivated". Lukas Klostermann is suspended for RB, but David Raum and Kevin Kampl, who were suspended recently, are back. Willi Orban is also back in the squad after a long injury lay-off. However, it would be too early for him to start. "He still has some catching up to do," said Löw.
