The Dresden State Art Collections (SKD) want to make their scientific work transparent and will in future provide regular insight into the research of their museums. The research consultation hour is to make methods, projects and contents as well as curatorial decisions visible starting from April on the first Tuesday in each month, as the museum group announced on Tuesday. Interested parties could also ask questions directly to the people who look after the collections, plan and design exhibitions or restore objects. Topics such as GDR historiography and memory after 1989, demographic developments and intercultural realities, colonial heritage, restitution or the controversial updating of work titles would also be discussed.
