An 83-year-old moped rider has suffered serious injuries in a collision with a car in Meißen. A 36-year-old man hit the moped rider with his car while turning left on Wednesday, a police spokesman said on Thursday. The moped rider was seriously injured and taken to hospital. Property damage of around 3000 euros was caused to the vehicles. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
