Media: RB Leipzig in contact with Ancelotti's son Davide

The name Ancelotti has now also appeared in the circle of coaching candidates for next season at Bundesliga club RB Leipzig. According to information in the German newspaper "Bild", RB has made contact with Davide Ancelotti, son of Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Davide is his father's assistant coach at Real Madrid and still has a contract there until 2026. However, Cesc Fabregas (Como) and Oliver Glasner (Crystal Palace) are still considered the favorites to succeed interim coach Zsolt Löw.

Already at Bayern

The 35-year-old Davide Ancelotti has been part of his father's coaching staff for twelve years and has already held this position at top clubs Paris Saint-Germain, FC Bayern, SSC Napoli, FC Everton and now Real Madrid. He speaks several languages fluently, including German.
