Fried meatballs are being recalled in certain Netto stores. According to the manufacturer, they may contain small metal pieces. The following states are affected.

Due to possible contamination with metal fragments, Pommernland Fleisch- und Wurstwaren GmbH in Stavenhagen (Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district) is recalling a batch of “Bratklopse Hausmacher Art.” Only 360-gram packages with best-by dates of July 3, 7, and 10, 2026, and batch number L12326 are affected.

According to the company, the packages were sold at Netto stores in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Brandenburg, Berlin, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony, and Hamburg. At Blömer Fleisch in Splietsdorf (Vorpommern-Rügen district), the meatballs were also available in a vending machine.

Small metal pieces were found or detected in the batch. “This can lead to health problems or injuries for consumers.” Customers will receive a refund upon returning the product, even without a receipt.
