The police are warning people in Oberwiesenthal (Erzgebirgskreis) about an escaped bull. According to the police, it became known on Monday that the 600-kilogram white and yellow spotted bull had escaped. The animal is said to have wandered into a wooded area above a quarry between Hammerunterwiesenthal and Kretscham-Rothensehma. The bull belongs to the Simmenthaler Fleckvieh breed.
Sightings should be reported to the Annaberg police station. The police expressly warn against approaching the animal and trying to catch it.
