Third-division relegated Hallescher FC have announced their first new signing for the season in the North-East Regional Football League. Hallens-born Kilian Zaruba, a defender who previously played for the club between 2010 and 2021, is returning to his home club. The 22-year-old defender comes to the Saale from regional league club FC Eilenburg and has signed a two-year contract. With this signing, HFC is setting an example and showing that it will once again focus more on talent from its own ranks in future.
