Promoted Dynamo Dresden are giving a talented player more match practice. The young defender is therefore moving to a third division club.

Paul Lehmann has been loaned to SC Verl by second-division promoted Dynamo Dresden. The 20-year-old defender only extended his contract with the sports club in April and is now set to gain match practice in the 3rd division.

"After last season, which was characterized by many injury-related breaks, it is extremely important for Paul's development that he plays games and gets back into his usual rhythm. As a club, SC Verl stands for the development of young players and therefore offers Paul the perfect opportunity to take the next step at a high level in the 3rd division," said Dynamo sporting director Thomas Brendel, who continues to plan with the talent.

After all, Lehmann was born in Dresden. The 1.90-metre defender came through the Black & Yellows' youth teams from a young age. Lehmann was then given a professional contract for the first time in 2022. Since then, he has played six games for the SGD professionals.
