The German Football Association's (DFB) Federal Court has not yet reached a final decision on the sanctions related to the riots that occurred during the second-division match between Dynamo Dresden and Hertha BSC on April 4. Both Dynamo and the DFB Control Committee had filed appeals against the ruling of the DFB Sports Court.
“Following the conclusion of today’s hearing of evidence, Dynamo Dresden and the DFB Control Committee will have until August 4 to submit additional statements,” explained Oskar Riedmeyer, chairman of the DFB Federal Court, in a statement, announcing: “The Federal Court will then announce a decision on August 6 via written proceedings, which may also be a final ruling.”
