DeAndre Lansdowne has said goodbye to the basketball Bundesliga club Niners Chemnitz. According to the "Freie Presse", the 36-year-old point guard is set to move to local rivals Seawolves Rostock. The American actually still had a contract for the coming season, but it was terminated by mutual agreement.
Landsdowne played two seasons in Chemnitz and won the Fiba Europe Cup in 2023/2024. The American had already thought about leaving the club in the past season and is now the last active foreign player to leave - apart from the long-injured Canadian Aher Uguak. However, with Kostja Mushidi (Germany), Ty Brewer (USA) and Amadou Sow (Mali), the Saxons have already made three new arrivals.
