The bands Feine Sahne Fischfilet and Kraftklub took a surprise dip in the crowd at Rock am Ring at the Nürburgring. Kraftklub's performance had previously been announced with a countdown on a crane.
"Kraftklub - Sterben in Karl-Marx-Stadt" was written in large red letters on a scaffold held up in the sky by a crane. Below it was a timer that went off at 6 pm. Right on time, the band in white suits jumped onto a small stage in the middle of the crowd. They played for a few minutes before disappearing again just as quickly. They had recently given a surprise concert in their hometown of Chemnitz in a similar way - but for longer there.
Gig and marriage proposal on the campsite
Feine Sahne Fischfilet from Rostock had already paid a surprise visit to the fans in the afternoon. The band had already played at the festival on Friday and followed it up a day later with a surprise performance on one of the campsites. There was even a marriage proposal on the makeshift stage. The festival in the Eifel is sold out with 90,000 visitors. It continues until Sunday.
