Tissue samples are needed to test new drugs. Until now, freezing these has been a laborious manual process. Together with partners, the Fraunhofer IWS in Dresden has developed an automated system. The platform processes ten times more samples than before and makes errors less frequent. This speeds up the development of new therapies.
