Ali Loune from third-division soccer club FC Erzgebirge Aue caused a traffic accident while under the influence of alcohol. The club confirmed this on request. The Chemnitz police department announced that a 22-year-old drove his off-road vehicle off the road in Zschorlau on Wednesday evening, drove through a front garden and crashed into the wall of a house.
