RB Leipzig will have to do without midfielder Ezechiel Banzuzi for the time being in the final sprint of the season. The 21-year-old Dutchman suffered a capsule injury in his left knee in training and will be out for the time being. This was announced by the Bundesliga club. Head coach Ole Werner will be without the suspended Xaver Schlager this Saturday (18:30/Sky) in the top match at Eintracht Frankfurt. In addition, central defender Castello Lukeba (adductor) is still doubtful.
In the battle to qualify for the Champions League, RB are level on points with VfB Stuttgart in fourth place. The Saxons have a four-point lead over chasing Bayer Leverkusen.
