A young man drives his car onto the highway near Döbeln in Central Saxony. He loses control of his vehicle - with far-reaching consequences.

Seven people were injured in a three-vehicle collision on the Autobahn 14 on Wednesday afternoon. According to the police, a 22-year-old man lost control of his car on the slip road at the Döbeln-Ost junction for unknown reasons and collided with two other cars. He and the driver of one of the two cars, as well as five occupants aged between 19 and 34, were injured.

The authorities estimated the damage to the three vehicles involved at around 17,000 euros. The highway in the direction of Nossener Dreieck was closed for an hour.
