Drivers on the Autobahn 14 near Halle can expect detours and delays from Friday evening. Due to the demolition of a bridge near Gröbers, a full road closure will be in place between the Halle/Peißen and Schkeuditzer Kreuz junctions in both directions from 8 p.m., as announced by Autobahn GmbH. The closure is expected to remain in place until 10 p.m. on Sunday evening.
The Gröbers junction and the slip road at the Halle-Ost junction in the direction of Dresden will also be closed, as will the exits at the Wiedemar junction in both directions.
Diversions have been signposted in each case. Traffic on the A14 in the direction of Dresden will be diverted at the Halle/Peißen junction and routed via the Bundesstraße 100 in the direction of Bitterfeld and on to the Autobahn 9. Traffic heading towards Magdeburg will first be diverted onto the A9 at the Schkeuditzer Kreuz junction and then onto the B100. Anyone wanting to join the A14 from either direction on the A9 will have to follow a detour via the Halle/Brehna junction.
