The manufacturer Jütro Tiefkühlkost is recalling several batches of frozen wild blueberries due to possible contamination with Salmonella. The product, “Edeka Organic Frozen Wild Blueberries” in a 300-gram package, was sold nationwide at Edeka and Marktkauf stores, according to the company, which is based in Jessen in eastern Saxony-Anhalt.

Consumption of the affected product is strongly discouraged. According to the information provided, no other best-before dates are affected. The affected batches are being recalled from supermarkets, and the purchase price will be refunded even without a receipt.
