The police are expecting considerable traffic restrictions on Wednesday due to a large farmers' demonstration in Dresden. Those who can should avoid the city center and allow extra time, the police announced on Tuesday. Because the farmers want to come with tractor convoys from various parts of Saxony, disruptions are to be expected, especially on the federal highways 6, 170 and 173. Farmers' associations are calling for the large demonstration on Theaterplatz. Farmers are demanding a complete reversal of the planned cuts to subsidies for agricultural diesel.
