A 16-year-old causes an accident in Lower Franconia after fleeing from the police. He damages traffic signs and crash barriers.

A 16-year-old fled from police control in a car at high speed in Lower Franconia, damaging several traffic signs and crash barriers in the process. After around five kilometers, the car came to a halt in Zeil am Main (Haßberge district) on Sunday night and the teenager ran off, the police said. He was found a few hours later. A helicopter was also used in the search. The car with three occupants had caught the officers' attention because it had a previously stolen license plate.
