A previously unknown man has been found seriously injured on a road in Bautzen. According to the police, he was lying on the road on Saturday morning - with a bicycle next to him. It is currently unclear how the incident occurred. The police are investigating.
The man is estimated to be around 60 years old, slim and of medium height. He was wearing blue denim trousers, a red top, a blue baseball cap, glasses and cycling gloves. The police describe the bicycle found as a gray men's bicycle with a red bottle carrier and a bicycle bag.
The investigators are asking witnesses who can provide information about the identity of the man or the course of events to contact the police.
