In Saxony-Anhalt, more new doctors and psychotherapists completed their training last year. According to the state administration office, around 650 healthcare professionals were licensed for their professions. This was more than in 2024 with 567 licenses and 2023 with 537 licenses.
According to the information, doctors in particular contributed to the increase. Their licensing figures rose from 336 in 2023 to 400 last year. In addition, 107 psychotherapists successfully completed their training. Five years earlier, there were only 33. 103 new pharmacists and 36 dentists were also added.
