The Ernst Rietschel Art Prize is awarded every two years in recognition of outstanding sculptural work. The role model is a Saxon master in this field - who caused a sensation beyond his home country.
The "Purple Path" art and sculpture trail in the Chemnitz region is being extended to include the sculpture "Polygonal Horse II" by Gregor Gaida.
