Saxony is modernizing its road law. The central aim of the amendment is to be able to renovate roads, bridges and retaining walls from now on without a costly planning approval procedure.
A new road connects the Löwitz quarter with the city center. Construction work begins on April 1 and is expected to end in August 2025. Full closure of the Berliner/Roscher Straße intersection until mid-July.
