Misconduct in three cases: Heavy fine for Dynamo

The sports court of the German Football Association (DFB) has sentenced the second division club Dynamo Dresden to a heavy fine for the misconduct of some of its supporters. The promoted club must pay a total of 113,450 euros for "unsportsmanlike conduct by its supporters", the association announced. Up to 37,800 euros can be used for the club's own safety or violence prevention measures.

Dresden spectators had set off 22 pyrotechnic objects before, during and after the third-division match at Hansa Rostock on February 22, 2025 and shot off a flare in the 79th minute. During the half-time break, two security screens at the edge of a buffer block were destroyed and Bengal flares were thrown at the police officers rushing towards the stadium. Several officers were injured in the process.

In addition, Rostock and Dresden spectators fired signal pen ammunition at each other, delaying the start of the second half by 27 minutes. A supply stand was also attacked and damaged by Dresden spectators during the half-time break, as well as a turnstile, two toilet bowls and a hydrant.
