RB Leipzig's personnel problems are getting worse. At least four players will not be available against Eintracht Frankfurt.

One man's injury misfortune is another man's opportunity: RB Leipzig will also have to do without at least four of their established players in the top match of the Bundesliga on Saturday (18:30/Sky) against Eintracht Frankfurt. German internationals Ridle Baku and Assan Ouédraogo are also unavailable, as are El Chadaille Bitshiabu and Romulo. It will only be decided on Friday whether Yohan Bakayoko will be able to play.

"Of course we'd like to have all the players available and it's also clear that the ones we're missing now will make us better if they're there. On the other hand, it's a normal situation. I'm looking at the players who are fit for action," said RB coach Ole Werner, referring to the breadth and quality of the squad. "We're still capable of playing good soccer and winning games. The lads who come in have our confidence," said the coach.

Coming together once again in the final spurt of the year

He expects a match of equals against Eintracht. The opponents have many weapons and a high tempo, especially when playing forward. "They have a clear change of pace, which makes them dangerous. They don't need much to be dangerous. But we can also be dangerous with our game," emphasized Werner.

He demands stability and a high level of concentration from his team ahead of the last three games of the year against Frankfurt, at Union Berlin and against Leverkusen. "We have to get our routines right in different games against different opponents. And because one or two of them are missing, we have to come closer together as a team at the end of the year," said Werner.
