The organizers of the Winter Game of the German Ice Hockey League are prepared for possible severe weather conditions in Dresden. "The organizers are - as far as one can be - prepared for all weather caprices. As things stand, it will be very cold, but probably snow rather than freezing rain. We may have to add one or two more power breaks to clear the snow," said a DEL spokesperson. There are currently no worries.
Last-placed Dresdner Eislöwen await the struggling champions Eisbären Berlin this Saturday (17:00/MagentaSport) for the Winter Game in Dresden's Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion. "We are extremely proud to be able to host this game. It's a historic event for our club, the city and the entire region," said Eislöwen Managing Director Maik Walsdorf ahead of the outdoor game in winter.
