The rematch of the 2023 DFB Cup final against Eintracht Frankfurt will be shown live on free-to-air television. ZDF will broadcast the round of 16 match between the two top teams in the Bundesliga on December 4 (8.45 pm), as RB announced.
The two-time cup winners from Saxony had won the previous final in Berlin's Olympic Stadium 2:0. It was the first title with RB for head coach Rose, whose team defeated FC St. Pauli 4-2 in the second round. They had started the season with a 4:1 opening win at Rot-Weiss Essen. In the Bundesliga, ten days after the cup match on 14 December, RB will play the current third-placed team from Hesse, who are currently three points behind second-placed Leipzig in the Bundesliga.
