Saxony plans to present itself at 18 international trade fairs in the coming year - from Las Vegas to Amsterdam and Tokyo. According to the Saxony Economic Development Corporation (WFS), 13 appearances at technology, sector and industry trade fairs as well as 5 trade fairs for the food industry are planned.
"With the 2026 state trade fair program, we are giving Saxon companies a strong international stage," said Saxony's Minister of Economic Affairs Dirk Panter (SPD). The presence at leading trade fairs in key industries is a door opener to new markets and partnerships - and at the same time a signal that the Free State is globally competitive with innovative strength and diversity.
Minister of Agriculture Georg-Ludwig von Breitenbuch (CDU) emphasized: "Presenting the agricultural and food industry is a wonderful opportunity to focus on our public services as well as the Saxon cultural landscape."
Freestate represented at numerous trade fairs
Planned trade fair appearances include the CES in Las Vegas (technology), the World Health Expo in Dubai (medical technology), the ILA in Berlin (aerospace), gamescom in Cologne (computer games) and, for the first time, Formnext in Frankfurt am Main (3D printing). For the food industry, participation is planned at the Green Week in Berlin, the agra trade fair in Leipzig and the "World of Private Label" in Amsterdam.
The state trade fair program is being implemented as part of the Saxony Foreign Trade Initiative (AWIS). In addition to the WFS, the Saxon chambers and other partners are also involved.
