Late yesterday evening, a 17-year-old was with friends in Leipzig's Clara Zetkin Park in the area of the Sachsenbrücke bridge. From another group of several people approaching them, the teenager was suddenly punched several times until he fell to the ground. He later had to be treated as an outpatient. After the police were informed, officers from the Central Services Inspectorate were able to identify four suspects (16, Iraqi; 16, Syrian; 16, Afghan and 18, Afghan) in the vicinity based on their description. A charge of assault and an investigation into the exact course of events was initiated.
