FC Erzgebirge Aue is also relying on players from its own youth ranks in the XXL reshuffle of its squad. Paul Seidel has signed a professional contract with the third division club. Seidel, who is 19 years old and 1.86 meters tall, has played for FC Erzgebirge Aue since the U13s.
Normally trained as a right-back, he can play in various positions and played in three championship matches for the third division team as well as in the final of the national cup at the end of the season. He is new signing number seven in coach Jens Härtel's team.
