According to the "Hamburger Abendblatt", FC St. Pauli coach Alexander Blessin has turned down Bundesliga rivals VfL Wolfsburg and RB Leipzig. Both clubs are still looking for a new head coach. And after a successful first year in Hamburg, 52-year-old Blessin was considered a candidate for both clubs.
According to the report, however, the former RB Leipzig youth coach would like to continue his work at FC St. Pauli. "It's no secret that I feel really good here," Blessin had already said after the club finished bottom of the Bundesliga. According to consistent media reports, Wolfsburg and Leipzig are now both interested in the Dane Jacob Neestrup from FC Copenhagen.
