RB Leipzig have brought in another defender for the upcoming Bundesliga season. This brings the total number of new signings to nine.

RB Leipzig have signed Hungarian international Diána Németh from VfL Wolfsburg. The 20-year-old left-back has signed a contract with Leipzig until June 30, 2028, the women's Bundesliga club announced.

"With Diána Németh, we are gaining a flexible defender with strong offensive qualities. She impresses with precise passes into the deep, aggressive defensive behavior and also brings international experience," said Viola Odebrecht, Head of Women's and Girls' Football at RB Leipzig.

Németh, who is the ninth addition to RB, began her career in the youth of Ferencváros Budapest and made her debut in the Hungarian first division at the age of 15. She played 22 league games for the Hungarian record champions and also made six appearances in the Champions League qualifiers. Németh made her Bundesliga debut in April 2024 in a VfL Wolfsburg shirt - in an away win against SC Freiburg. She has been a permanent member of the Hungarian senior national team since October 2021 and has played 16 international matches to date.
