The SC DHfK Leipzig has conceded its first defeat of the season in the German Handball League. On Sunday, the Saxons lost their second game at runners-up Füchse Berlin by 32:37 (17:20). Leipzig's best scorers in the East derby in front of 7011 spectators in the Max-Schmeling-Halle were Franz Semper with seven goals and Matej Klima with five.
A fast-paced game developed right from the start, in which the visitors made a number of technical mistakes in the opening spell or were thwarted by Füchse keeper Lasse Ludwig.
