In the midst of increasing speculation about a premature end to Jürgen Klopp in the Red Bull soccer cosmos, Ole Werner has emphasized the importance of the collaboration. For the RB Leipzig coach, the tactical realignment and the transformation initiated in the summer is a joint project in which he is in regular contact with global head of soccer Klopp.
According to Werner, there are no solo efforts when it comes to putting together the team. Squad planning is "only done together with Jürgen's team, with us at RB Leipzig, with the coach." There is a "very, very regular exchange", not only with Klopp personally, but with his entire staff. They analyze games together and discuss various situations.
The "Salzburger Nachrichten" recently reported that Klopp was about to leave Red Bull. The company strictly denied this through managing director Oliver Mintzlaff. Nevertheless, rumors are circulating that the company is not one hundred percent satisfied with Klopp's work. It is also publicly unclear exactly how the role of Global Head of Soccer is defined.
