Leipzig loaned him from Atlético Madrid a year ago. This summer, Vermeeren signed a contract with RB - and is now playing for Olympique Marseille for the time being.

Arthur Vermeeren from RB Leipzig is playing in France this season. The Saxon Bundesliga club is loaning the 20-year-old Belgian to Olympique Marseille. RB initially signed Vermeeren on loan from Atlético Madrid last season and bought him this summer. Vermeeren is a highly talented player who needs match practice at his age, said sporting director Marcel Schäfer.
