Third-division soccer club FC Erzgebirge Aue is letting its midfielder Joshua Schwirten move to Dutch second-division club Roda Kerkrade. This was announced by the Veilchen on Friday. They have thus complied with the wishes of the 22-year-old, who was dissatisfied with his playing time despite 32 competitive appearances last season. The transfer terms were not disclosed.
The midfielder moved to the Lößnitz Valley from 1. FC Köln II in the summer of 2023 and made 27 appearances in the 3rd division, including three in the starting eleven. He has scored two goals this season.
