A cyclist collided with a streetcar in the center of Leipzig and was seriously injured. According to the police, the 45-year-old was cycling towards the main railway station on Tuesday morning when she presumably overlooked an oncoming streetcar when turning. The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The road was temporarily closed while the accident was being investigated. The police estimate the damage to be around 1,500 euros. The traffic accident service is investigating.
