After four years and 79 competitive matches, the RB Leipzig chapter is over for Jenny Hipp. According to both clubs, the 27-year-old midfielder is moving to newly promoted 1. FC Union Berlin in the women's Bundesliga.
Hipp came to Leipzig from FC Carl Zeiss Jena in 2021 and was promoted to the Bundesliga with RB in 2023. In total, she scored 18 times for the Saxons and provided 14 assists. She played 39 Bundesliga games for RB. Hipp is the eleventh departure ahead of the new season, which begins on September 6 at 2 p.m. at 1. FC Köln.
