Mike Taylor has ended his contract with German Basketball League club Science City Jena. The American had taken over from Björn Harmsen five matchdays before the end of the season and led the Thuringian club to stay in the league. For family reasons, the 53-year-old Taylor will stay with his wife and two sons in Florida and will not return to the Saale.
Who will lead Science City as head coach in the coming season is still undecided. According to the club's announcement, Jena is sounding out the market but is already in talks with potential candidates.
