Dynamo Dresden won a test match against Czech first division side FK Mladá Boleslav 2:1 (1:0). Christoph Daferner (53rd minute) scored the winner from the penalty spot after Luca Herrmann had been fouled in the penalty area. In the first 30 minutes, the game was more of a midfield skirmish. Daferner had the best and only chance to take the lead, making way for Stefan Kutschke in attack in the second half.
Scoring opportunities were also in short supply after the break. The visitors only managed to equalize in the 97th minute. Dynamo then missed the chance to make it 2-1 when substitute Ben Bobzien failed to beat visiting keeper Jiri Floder after a great individual move. Veteran Kutschke did better (115'), scoring with a header from a free position at the far post.
Dynamo kick off after the international break with a home match against Hertha BSC on April 4 (8:30 p.m.). Despite the 2-1 defeat in Paderborn last time out, Dresden are in twelfth place. The capital city club are sixth in the second division table and recently shone with a 5-2 win in Düsseldorf.
