RB Leipzig has more personnel alternatives again for Saturday's (3:30 p.m./Sky) away match in the Bundesliga at Darmstadt 98. At the public training on Tuesday, the recently injured Dani Olmo and Benjamin Henrichs were back. While Olmo was still a little more dosed to work, Henrichs completed the entire training under full load. "It's very nice that we can access them again and the quality on the pitch is back," said goalkeeper Janis Blaswich.
The quality is also necessary to succeed in Darmstadt. "It will be a difficult game. Of course, we take it upon ourselves to score there. We have to be there on the dot. Darmstadt has a good team, especially at home with the fans," said Blaswich.
Before the international break, RB had failed to win three times at home. In the Bundesliga it was 2:2 and 0:0 against Bayern Munich and VfL Bochum, in the Champions League was lost against cup defending champion Manchester City 1:3. The draw against Bochum in particular hurt the Saxons, who had resolved before the season to score more against supposedly inferior opponents than in the previous season. "We are trying to implement the things that make us strong, to bring the intensity on the pitch again, the energy. If we can do that, I'm good things we'll get the points," goalkeeper Blaswich said.
